How to find us
Community House reception entrance is on the corner of East Parade & Mowbray Square. Reception is open 9.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. For meetings starting after 4.30pm or weekend meetings, please use the door at the opposite side of the building.
Walking from the Bus Station: (Approximately 7 minutes) Walk down to the end of the bus station (against the flow of the one way traffic on Station Parade). Cross the road and on your right you will see an underpass – One Arch. Walk through the underpass and straight ahead onto Bower Street. At the end of Bower Street bear right and cross at the lights. Turn left and remain on the right hand side of the road where the road forks off to the right. This is East Parade. Continue on this road and Community House is on the right. Turn right at the end of the building for the main entrance.
Walking from the Railway station: (Approximately 7 minutes)
Exit Harrogate Station from the rear – If you arrive from York exit at the gate near the bottom of the stairs to the footbridge; if you arrive from Leeds, cross over the footbridge and exit at the gate near the bottom of the stairs. Bear left and walk straight ahead past the Victoria Car Park on your left and at the end of the road bear right and cross at the lights. Turn left down East Parade and continue walking on the right hand side of the road where the road forks off to the right; this is also East Parade. Continue on this road and Community House is on the right. Turn right at the end of the building for the main entrance.
Walking from the Odeon Cinema on North Park Road: (Approximately 9 minutes) Go towards the roundabout and turn right down East Parade (with the Odeon on your right). Remain on the right hand side of the road and when the road forks off to the right follow this road, (this is still East Parade). Continue on this road and Community House is on the right. Turn right at the end of the building for the main entrance.
Parking around Community House
Please note: the parking directly in front of the building is for tenants only (except for evenings and weekends when it is available for meeting room users). Visitors to tenants and meeting room users must use the parking suggested below – thank you.
Cyclists: there is a cycle shed at the side of the building for tenants and visitors to Community House.
On road FREE disc parking: 3 hours only between 9.00am – 6.00pm (6.00pm – 9.00am there are no restrictions). Discs are available from reception.
