Harrogate Stay Well provides housing-related support for people aged 18 years+ experiencing mental health and housing difficulties, who live in the Harrogate Borough.
The new strength-based, trauma informed, floating support service is currently able to offer weekly visits in people’s own homes if they have a tenancy, licence or are an owner-occupier. We also provide temporary supported accommodation.
On team, we also have our Volunteer Coordinator who will work alongside support staff to build client confidence, help ensure long-term wellbeing, sustain recovery and prevent re-entry into services.
Harrogate Stay Well aims to:
- Promote and develop tenancy management skills to sustain or prevent loss of accommodation
- Enable people to stay healthy, safe and well in the community
- Build resilience and wellbeing to maximise people’s independence
- Develop and support education, access to training, work and/or volunteering opportunities
